EAAMO NYC meetup May 19th at Cornell Tech
Dear all,
We’re excited to announce the next EAAMO NYC Meetup, taking place Monday, May 19th, from 9am to 12pm EST at Cornell Tech!
These meetups are casual co-working gatherings where researchers, practitioners, and students interested in the EAAMO community can come together to network and share ideas. Whether you're based in NYC or just visiting, you’re warmly invited to join!
New this time: We'll have a round of 5-minute presentations (10:30–11:30am) for attendees to introduce themselves and their work. These short talks are a great way to share what you're working on, highlight open questions, and seek collaborators.
Want to present?
Please add up to 2 slides to our shared presentation deck and tell us about:
Who you are and your research interests (1 optional slide)
A project or topic you’re working on (1–2 slides)
Please fill out this RSVP form if you plan to attend. Your name must be submitted for building security, so please bring a government-issued ID to enter.
Special Talk: 12–1pm EST (Hybrid, Zoom link in RSVP form)
As a bonus, stick around for a talk by our guest speaker:
Rafael M. H. Pereira – Spatial data science for just and sustainable cities
Learn more about his work on transportation network modeling and spatial inequality in access to opportunities.
We'll have the room reserved until 3pm, so feel free to hang out and co-work afterward.
Please share this widely. We’d love to welcome new members of the EAAMO community, especially those who haven’t joined us before!
Best regards,
EAAMO Organizers

Gabriel Agostino and Jennah Gosciak (Cornell) from EAAMO Urban Data Science Working Group and Sera Linardi (University of Pittsburgh)
